What happens on the call
Four steps, in this order. Nothing else fits — and nothing else is needed to decide.
You describe the bottleneck
Two or three sentences will do: which system is stuck, how you notice it, and what you have already tried.
We say whether we have built this before
Straight answer, including when it is no. If someone else is the better fit you get a name, not a proposal.
We settle on a shape
Assessment, delivery, workshop — or nothing for now. Plus the order of magnitude a first step sits in.
You decide afterwards
Nothing is sold on the call. What you leave with is a read on the problem and one clear next step — or none.
What the fit check is not
A fit check is not free consulting. It settles whether working together makes sense. The work itself starts afterwards, and it is paid.
Not an architecture review
An estate that grew over years cannot be judged in a quarter of an hour. If you need a read you can act on, that is the assessment — paid, and it ends in a written result.
No solution design, no code review
We look at neither repository nor cluster. The fit check needs nothing confidential from you — no NDA, no access, no documents.
Not a sales call
The person on the other end is the engineer who would do the work. No deck, no presentation, nobody carrying a quota.
No follow-up you did not ask for
If it is not a fit we say so on the call and you do not hear from us again. If it is, you get what you asked for and nothing else.

Five questions, three of them required. They are printed here so you know what you are walking into — and so the call is not spent on basics.

We hand over to a team at the end. With no team to hand over to it turns into permanent outsourcing, which we do not offer.

Is there anything that rules a collaboration out — a public tender, procurement through framework contracts only, a fixed on-site requirement, placement through a staffing agency?
Optional, but it saves us both the call. What we turn down as a matter of course is listed openly on the contact page.

Online booking is not switched on yet. Until it is, the fit check runs by email: send the five answers in one message and we will offer two slots.
What happens to your details
Booking runs through Calendly, off this website — appetizers.io itself still sets no cookies. Your name, email address and answers are processed there only after you open the booking link. The details are in the privacy policy.
Cancelling and rescheduling
The confirmation email carries two links: one to reschedule, one to cancel. Both work up to the start of the call, no reason needed. If the email is gone, a line to info@appetizers.io is enough.
